Privacy Policy — Wash Together?
Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026
This policy explains how Wash Together?, a laundry compatibility and sorting helper provided by YJ Studio (Korean name: 같이 빨아도 돼?; Android package: com.washtools.washtogether; “the app”), handles information. The app has no account registration, login, payment or record synchronization through a developer-operated server.
1. Information stored on your device and its purposes
The app stores the names, colors, fabrics, care labels and drying conditions of laundry items you select or enter, analysis results, up to 100 recent analysis records and favorites, recently used items, and custom presets on your device. Preferences such as language, theme and temperature unit, as well as counters and timestamps used to limit ad frequency, are also stored locally.
This information supports washing and drying analysis, suggested separate-wash groups, history and convenience features. Laundry information and analysis records are not sent to a developer server or advertising SDK. Core analysis and the care-symbol guide work offline.
If you copy result text or share a summary image, the selected content is passed to the clipboard or the app you choose. Subsequent storage and use are governed by that app or service's policies.
2. Google AdMob advertising and external services
The app uses Google AdMob for banner and interstitial ads. The advertising SDK may collect or share the information below for advertising, measurement, diagnostics and fraud prevention. Processing may vary by device, region, consent status and Google's policies.
| Information | Examples |
|---|---|
| Identifiers | Android advertising ID, app set ID and other applicable identifiers |
| IP address and approximate location | Network IP address and location inferred from it |
| Interactions | App launches, ad impressions, taps and video views |
| Diagnostics | Launch time, response delays and energy usage |
Data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google's policies govern advertising-data retention, deletion and processing in other countries. The developer does not sell laundry records or provide them to advertising services.

3. Advertising privacy choices
The app checks consent information through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and shows a consent form where required. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Ad privacy settings appears in Settings so you can change your choices.
Ads are requested only when the SDK permits them under the consent status. Core features remain available if ads are restricted or unavailable. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings; controls vary by device and operating-system version. Deleting the advertising ID does not stop all advertising-related processing, such as IP-address or diagnostic processing.
4. Permissions and data protection
The app and advertising SDK use network access and advertising-identifier permissions for ads and consent processing. The app does not request permissions for the camera, reading photos or the gallery, precise location, contacts, text messages or call history. The advertising service may infer approximate location from an IP address even without location permission.
Laundry records are stored in the app's private on-device storage and are not separately encrypted by the app. Use device locking and operating-system security features to protect them. The app offers no developer-server backup or manual backup-file feature, and is configured to exclude its data from Android automatic backups and device-to-device app-data transfers.
5. Retention and deletion
- Retention: the app keeps up to 100 analysis records. Other local information remains until updated by the relevant feature or deleted by you.
- Delete one record: delete the selected record from History.
- Bulk deletion: Settings → Delete all data removes analysis records and favorites, recently used items and custom presets. Preferences such as language and theme are retained.
- Uninstall: removing the app deletes its data on that device. Delete content already copied or shared separately from its storage location or service.
In-app deletion does not delete advertising information separately processed by Google or submit a deletion request to Google. Refer to Google's privacy information for relevant choices and requests.
6. Your rights and requests
The developer cannot remotely access local laundry records. You can view, edit and delete them in the app. Contact the email address below to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or other rights available under applicable law concerning information you provide in an inquiry. We review requests and respond in accordance with applicable law.
7. Email inquiries and children's privacy
If you email us, we process your sender address and the information in your inquiry for as long as needed to answer and follow up. We delete unnecessary information after that purpose is fulfilled, except where law requires retention for a specified period. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information. Email processing is also subject to the policies of your email provider and the developer's Gmail service.
The app is a general household helper and is not designed for children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you have a related concern.
8. Changes and contact
When functionality or information handling changes, we update this page and its last-updated date. Where needed, we provide notice through an app update or in-app information.
