Privacy Policy — SubEnd
Effective and last updated: September 30, 2026
This policy explains how SubEnd, a payment-date and free-trial expiry reminder app provided by YJ Studio (Korean name: 구독끝; Android package: com.subscriptionend.reminder; “the app”), handles information. The app has no account registration, bank-account connection, or subscription-data synchronization through a developer-operated server.
1. Information stored on your device and its purposes
The app stores subscription names, amounts and currencies, categories, payment and expiry dates, cancellation deadlines, subscription status, notes, payment-method nicknames, cancellation-page URLs, and reminder settings on your device. It also stores preferences such as language, theme, and default currency.
This information is used to provide subscription lists, payment schedules, spending summaries, local reminders, and backups or restores you request. The app does not send your subscription details or notes to a developer server or advertising SDK. It does not request actual card numbers, bank accounts, or financial-institution login details, or access your accounts.
2. Google AdMob advertising and external services
The app uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and app open ads. The advertising SDK may collect or share the information below to provide advertising, measure ad performance, diagnose services, and prevent fraud. Actual processing may vary by device, region, advertising settings, and Google's policies.
| Information | Details |
|---|---|
| Device and other identifiers | Advertising ID and other device or advertising identifiers |
| IP address and approximate location | Your network IP address and approximate location that may be inferred from it |
| App and ad interactions | App launches, ad impressions and taps, video views, and related usage information |
| Diagnostics and performance | App or SDK launch times, response delays, energy usage, and related performance information |
The app does not request precise-location permissions such as GPS access, or permissions to read contacts, text messages, email, or call history. Even without a location permission, the advertising service may infer approximate location from your IP address. Google advertising data may be processed in other countries under Google's policies; its retention and deletion are also governed by those policies.

When you open a cancellation page, the external browser and website's policies apply. When you share a backup file, it may be transferred to the app or storage service you choose, whose policies apply.
3. Advertising privacy choices
You can use the advertising privacy controls provided in your Android device settings, including options to reset or delete your advertising ID. Available controls vary by Android version and device. Deleting your advertising ID does not stop all advertising-related processing, such as IP-address or diagnostic processing.
The current app does not provide a separate advertising privacy-options or consent-reset screen. You can send privacy inquiries or requests concerning applicable rights to the contact below. For choices concerning data processed by Google, also refer to Google's privacy information.
4. Permissions and notifications
- Notifications: used for local reminders about payment dates, free-trial expiry, and cancellation deadlines. Subscription management still works if you deny notification permission.
- File selection and sharing: the app reads a file you select, or creates and shares a backup file, when you request import or export.
- Network: used for advertising and external web pages you choose to open.
Scheduled reminders are handled on your device. Depending on your lock-screen settings, notifications may display subscription names, amounts, and dates. You can hide previews in your system notification settings.
5. Device backups and retention
Subscription information remains on your device until you delete it. JSON backups you create include entered information such as subscription names, notes, and payment-method nicknames, and the app does not separately encrypt these files. Store backups securely.
Depending on your device and operating-system backup settings, app data may be included in system cloud backups or device-to-device transfers. This is separate from developer-server synchronization and is governed by the operating-system or backup provider's policies. The developer cannot access these backups.
6. Deletion and your rights
- Delete one subscription: swipe its card left on Home or delete it from its detail screen.
- Delete all subscriptions: use Settings → Delete all data and enter the confirmation word to delete stored subscriptions and scheduled reminders.
- Uninstall: removing the app deletes its data on that device. Existing system backups may remain or be restored when you reinstall.
- Delete backups: delete exported files and system or cloud backups separately from their storage location or backup service.
The app's deletion function does not delete advertising data processed separately by Google or submit a deletion request to Google. The developer cannot remotely access local subscription information; you can edit or delete it within the app. You may contact us regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other rights available under applicable law. For information processed by Google, you may also use Google's relevant request procedures.
7. Support inquiries and children's privacy
If you contact us by email, we process the email address and information you provide for as long as needed to answer and follow up on your inquiry. Please do not send unnecessary card numbers, account information, or sensitive information. We delete unnecessary inquiry information after its purpose has been fulfilled, except where applicable law requires retention.
The app is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. Contact us if you have a related concern.
8. Changes and contact
When functionality or information handling changes, we update this page and its last-updated date. Where needed, we provide notice through an app update or in-app information.
