Privacy Policy — Asset Tax Calculator

Effective: October 1, 2026 · Last updated: October 2, 2026

This policy explains how YJ Studio's Asset Tax Calculator (Korean app name: 자산 세금 계산기; Android package: kr.co.giftcalc.realestate_gift_tax; “the app”) handles information. The app has no account registration, connection to financial accounts, or calculation-history synchronization through a developer-operated server.

1. Calculation inputs and information stored on your device

The app processes your inputs on your device to estimate Korean gift and inheritance taxes, property holding taxes, property capital gains tax, and DSR/LTV loan limits. Inputs may include asset types, values and shares; gift and inheritance dates; family relationships and birth dates; previous gifts; debts, deductions and preparation costs; an optional property address; assessed, sale and purchase values; income, loan amounts, interest and repayment conditions.

Working inputs are processed in memory while the app is running. When you choose to save a gift or inheritance plan, its inputs, calculation results, rule version and save date are stored on your device. Gift-plan titles, status, comparison selections, document checklist progress and filing reminder settings, and whether you have viewed onboarding are also stored locally. Property holding tax, capital gains tax and loan inputs currently have no separately saved-plan feature.

The information is used for calculations, viewing, editing and comparing saved plans, checklists, local reminders, and gift-calculation PDF reports you request. Asset, income and debt inputs, names, addresses, birth dates and saved plans are not sent to a developer server or included in ad requests. The app does not ask for national identification numbers, actual payment card or bank account numbers, or financial-institution login credentials.

2. Google AdMob and external services

Depending on its configuration, the app can display Google AdMob banner and interstitial ads. For ad delivery and measurement, service analysis and diagnostics, and fraud prevention, the SDK may collect or share these types of information. Processing varies with device, region, settings and Google's policies.

Information the advertising service may process

The app does not request precise location permission. Google may nevertheless infer a general location from IP addresses. Advertising SDK transmissions are encrypted, and processing may take place outside your country. Google's policies govern advertising-data retention and deletion.

Opening official calculation sources or the privacy policy uses an external browser and the website's policies. Visits to this GitHub Pages policy website may be processed under the GitHub Privacy Statement.

3. Advertising privacy choices

Google's consent flow may appear where the region and advertising configuration require it. When Google requires a privacy-options screen, you can change choices through More → Ad privacy settings. This menu appears only when required.

Your Android device's advertising privacy settings may allow you to reset or delete the advertising ID. Features vary by device and Android version. Deleting the ID does not stop all processing, such as IP addresses or diagnostics. For information processed by Google, also consult Google's privacy choices and request procedures.

4. PDF reports, printing and sharing

Gift-calculation PDF reports are generated on your device. Printing or sharing can send a document to the printer, app or storage service you choose; that service's policies apply. The app does not automatically send reports to the developer.

Reports include amounts, dates and calculation details. Names and addresses are excluded by default; you can opt to include them in the preview. Exported PDFs are not password-protected by the app. Review reports before sharing and manage or delete external copies where they were saved or sent.

5. Permissions and reminders

The app does not request access to location, contacts, call logs, text messages, the camera, photos or all device storage. PDF printing and sharing use system features initiated by you. Reminders are scheduled on your device. Plan titles and deadlines may appear on the lock screen depending on your settings; you can hide previews in system notification settings.

6. Retention, protection and operating-system backups

Saved plans and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or clear app data. They use app-private device storage; the app does not provide separate encryption of stored data. Use your operating system's protections, such as a device lock, to control access.

Device and operating-system backup settings may include app data in a system cloud backup, such as your Google account backup, or device-to-device transfer. This is separate from developer-operated synchronization and follows the operating system or backup provider's policies. The developer cannot access these backups.

7. Deletion and your rights

Deleting a plan does not delete Google's advertising data or submit a request to Google. The developer cannot remotely access your local calculation information; you can edit or delete it on your device. Contact us below about applicable access, correction, deletion or processing-restriction rights. For information processed by Google, you can also use Google's request procedures.

8. Support inquiries and children

When you contact us by email, we process the email address and information you provide for the time needed to respond and follow up. Do not send unnecessary asset details, birth dates, identity numbers, account details or other sensitive information. We delete unnecessary inquiry data once its purpose is fulfilled, unless applicable law requires retention.

The app is intended to help adults plan asset and tax matters and is not designed for children under 14. Inputs concerning minor recipients are calculation conditions entered by an adult user. Contact us below with related concerns.

9. Changes and contact

If features or information practices change, we update this page and its last-updated date. Where needed, changes are communicated through app updates or in-app notices.
