Privacy Policy — Garment Salary & OT BD

Your salary and work records stay on your device. Advertising services process separate data as explained below.

1. Work and salary information kept on your device

The app is a personal work and overtime diary. It has no account registration, employer access, developer server or cloud synchronization. Work dates, attendance status, clock-in and clock-out times, breaks, regular and overtime hours, night hours and optional notes are stored in a local SQLite database. Salary mode, contract rates, payday, month-specific rate snapshots, bonuses, allowances, advances, deductions and actual received pay are also stored locally. Language preference, optional reminder status, the ads switch and Google consent preferences are also stored on your device. These records are used for your diary, calendar, estimates, history and requested reports. We do not send salary amounts, work records or notes to the developer, an analytics service or advertising requests. We do not request bank credentials, bank account numbers or government identification numbers.

2. Google AdMob advertising

The app includes Google AdMob banner advertising on Today and History. It does not display launch ads or ads while you enter work or overtime, and basic calculations and report sharing do not require watching an ad. Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform can process IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and advertising identifiers (including app set ID and applicable account-related identifiers), app/ad interactions and diagnostic/performance information for ad delivery, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Non-personalized ad requests can still use these data. The app does not request precise location permission. Google encrypts advertising data in transit and may process it outside your country under its policies. Google determines retention and deletion for its advertising services. We do not integrate a separate Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics service. Closed-test builds may use Google test ads.

3. Advertising choices

Settings contains an Ads switch. Turning it off stops new ad requests and removes the app’s displayed banner, but does not delete information already processed by Google. Where consent is required, the app requests current consent information and shows Google’s consent form when available and required before requesting ads. When Google requires a privacy options entry point, Settings shows Ad privacy choices so you can revisit your choice. Android advertising privacy settings can reset or delete the advertising ID; this does not stop every form of advertising processing. The initial closed test is distributed in Bangladesh. Country availability does not determine where a user is physically located.

4. Reports and user-initiated sharing

When you choose Export salary image, a PNG salary summary is generated on your device. It can include the month, worked days, overtime, salary totals, deductions, received pay and difference. It does not include your work notes. A temporary copy may remain in the app cache until cleared or removed by the operating system. Only when you use the Android share sheet is the file provided to your chosen app or storage service. We do not automatically send reports to ourselves. Review salary information before sharing. Exported images are not password protected; manage or delete shared copies at their destination.

5. Permissions and reminders

Internet and network-state access are used by advertising and user-selected links. Advertising ID access is used by the advertising SDK. Notifications are optional and used for a local daily work reminder at 8 pm; reminders contain no salary amount or work notes. Boot-completed reception restores scheduled reminders after a device restart. Reminders may be delayed by Android power management. Declining notification permission does not prevent record keeping or calculations. The app does not request GPS, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs or broad photo/storage access.

6. Storage, security and backups

Records and settings remain in the app’s private device storage until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall the app. The app does not add a separate password or database encryption layer; use your device lock and operating-system protections. Android cloud backup and app-data device transfer are disabled in the app configuration. Manufacturer behavior may differ, and reports you exported or copied separately are outside the app’s control. The developer cannot remotely recover deleted local records or access your database.

7. Deletion and privacy rights

Delete a work day from its editor, remove an advance or other cash entry from Salary, clear a received-pay entry, or delete the selected month from Settings. Month deletion removes that month’s work entries, cash adjustments, saved rates and received-pay record. These deletions are irreversible in the app. You may also use Android Settings > Apps > Garment Salary & OT BD > Storage > Clear data, or uninstall the app. Separately shared files must be deleted at their destination. Local deletion does not delete Google’s advertising data; use Google’s privacy tools for data processed by Google. For applicable access, correction, deletion or restriction requests, contact the email below. We cannot access records that exist only on your device.

8. Contact messages and children

If you email support, your email address and message are processed to respond and handle follow-up for as long as needed, subject to applicable legal retention duties. Do not include unnecessary salary details, bank information or identification documents. The app is intended for adult workers and is not designed for children. Contact us if you have concerns about a child’s use. Calculations use your entered contract rates and are personal estimates, not an official payslip or legal advice.

9. External links and changes

Opening the privacy policy, support email or another external destination is a user-initiated action governed by the chosen browser, email provider and destination’s policies. GitHub Pages hosting may process website visit information under GitHub’s privacy statement. We update this policy and revision date if app functions or processing change. Material changes may also be communicated through an app update.
