Privacy Policy — Battery Guardian

This policy describes Battery Guardian by YJ Studio (Android package: com.yjlab.batteryguardian).

1. Battery information processed on your device

The app reads Android battery level, charging connection, temperature and estimated charging time when available. Targets, notification/sound/vibration choices and other settings are stored locally. Up to 30 user-started monitoring records contain start/end times and levels, observed peak temperature and interruption status. Older records are removed as new records exceed the limit.

These data power charging/temperature/full alerts, battery display and observed history/averages. Battery information and records are not sent to a developer server or included in ad requests. There is no account, app backend or server synchronization.

2. Advertising and external services

We use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and User Messaging Platform. Advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention may involve device/ad identifiers, IP-based approximate location, app/ad interactions and diagnostics. Processing depends on region, consent, device and Google settings. Charging records, photos and recognized text are not added to ad requests. Current test builds use Google demo ad IDs.

Ad SDK traffic is encrypted in transit and may be processed internationally. Providers apply their own retention/deletion policies. Ad requests start only when Google's consent status permits them. “Ad privacy choices” appears in settings when required. Android lets you reset/delete your advertising ID; this does not stop all diagnostic or network processing.

3. Permissions and notifications

Force-stop prevents alerts until you reopen the app. Lock-screen notifications may display a target or charging state; control previews in Android settings. Location, contacts, camera and broad photo permissions are not requested.

4. Deleting history

The history screen's deletion control clears monitoring records. Current battery readings come from Android; clearing app history does not clear operating-system battery statistics.

5. Retention, protection and deletion

Settings and optional history use app-private device storage. The app does not add its own storage encryption; use your device's lock and operating-system protection. App data is configured to be excluded from Android cloud backup and automatic device transfer. Operating-system/manufacturer services follow their own policies.

Use the app's history deletion control, Android Settings → Apps → this app → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app to remove local data. Menu names vary. This does not delete Google ad/diagnostic data or external provider data. We cannot remotely access local app data. Contact external providers through their own data-request procedures.

6. Contact and your rights

For email support, we process the sender's email address and message as needed to respond and follow up. Unneeded messages are deleted when the purpose is fulfilled, subject to legal retention requirements. Do not send passwords, identity/financial details or private photos/documents. Contact us about access, correction, deletion or restrictions under applicable law.

The app is not designed for children under 13 and does not require an account or children's personal details. Contact us with concerns about children's data.

7. Changes and contact

We update this page and revision date when features or practices change, and provide an app update or notice when necessary.
